Feature and Follow Friday #7

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The rules include writing a blog post in response to the Question of the Week and then following the hosts, the two featured bloggers, and anyone else in the original list you like. The goal is to gain new friends and followers, so comment on every blog post you come across. For more specific rules, check out their much more substantial posts!

Question: Where do you post your reviews besides your blogs? Where else do you post your reviews? - Via A Great Read

Answer: I always leave a star-rating on my Goodreads page and when it's asked by authors I post stars and word reviews on Amazon. Usually though, my word reviews are just on my blog. I don't tend to stray from my safe haven of Dystopian Wonders haha.

Where do you post your reviews?

Check out the other bloggers and spread the love!

  1. I definitely make sure that I always get my reviews for the eGalley's that I receive for review posted to Edelweiss and Netgalley. Then I make sure that they're up on Goodreads (that's where they usually got first) and then they get moved over to the blog and scheduled, also they go up on Amazon. :)

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

    1. I haven't heard of or used Netgalley and Edelweiss, but it seems like a lot of these comments follow those sites! I would like to get more wordy ones up on Goodreads and Amazon, but sometimes I feel like my reviews on Dystopian Wonders should be tweaked for Amazon.

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  2. I actually always post my reviews to Goodreads first. I am a huge fan of that site. I then post them up on my blog and I have recently started adding them to Edelweiss.

    1. Goodreads has become one of my new site addictions! One of my personal goals is to be more active on that site, both with my reviews and with the other readers there.

Thanks for following and stopping by! :)

  3. I try to post my reviews on Goodreads, but I tend to forget because I also like sticking to my own little blog! I sometimes post to Amazon, but not a lot! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you enjoy your weekend!

    1. I completely understand! The biggest reason I leave my starred ratings is so I can update my book count for the 2015 Reading Challenge. Otherwise, I'd be too caught up in finding the upcoming releases.

Thanks for stopping by and hope your weekend is lovely as well! :)

  4. First review goes on my own blog. Then NetGalley if that applies. Trying to get better at Goodreads, but at least some there.

Enjoyed wandering around your home. And a new email follower. :)

    1. Blog is always my priority too. I feel like everywhere else is always a second thought, but I would like to change that in the coming year. We'll see what happens haha.

Thank you for visiting and following! :)

  5. I think, based on what I've seen today, I'm posting to too many other sites. I post my reviews to Goodreads, Amazon, LibraryThing, Booklikes, and Netgalley(if applicable). I have a hard time keeping up, so I think I may cut that down to just Goodreads and Amazon. Old email follower. Happy Friday! Here's my F&F.

    1. That's crazy! I haven't heard of half of those, but now I'm intrigued. Goodreads is more personal for me, and Amazon is more business/professional. I think that's why those two work so well for me. The blog is a combination of the two.

Thanks for following and stopping by! :)

  6. Beside my blog, I only post on goodreads with words but less details. I'm not very active there actually, I mostly wait till end of the month to update all the books I have read!

    1. I'm really only active there to find new books to read, but I'm starting to realize how much I value word reviews. Maybe that's why I only read books that other bloggers have given high ratings to lol.

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  7. I need to get more active with Goodreads. I do post my reviews, but there is so much more I could be doing with it.

    I'll make sure I'm following :)

    1. I feel like Goodreads is the perfect site for bloggers because not only do we get reviews, but we can check out each other's upcoming reads. If only Goodreads was linked to Blogger, then I wouldn't have a problem!

      Thanks for visiting! :)

  8. I am so bad at posting on Amazon, but I know authors appreciate it when I do!!!

  9. Right?? I know it really helps them, but if they could just follow the blogs and direct readers here, that would be great too haha!
